OXON HILL, Md. (AP) — Former commissioner Bud Selig (SEE'-lihg) and longtime general manager John Schuerholz (SHUR'-holts) are going into the baseball Hall of Fame. Selig is the fifth of 10 commissioners to reach the Hall and will enter along with Schuerholz as both were voted in by a veterans committee at the winter meetings outside Washington, D.C.

UNDATED (AP)— It's undefeated and defending national champion Alabama against Washington in the Peach Bowl in College Football Playoff matchups. In the other national semifinal game on New Year's Eve, second-seeded Clemson plays Ohio State in the Fiesta Bowl.

UNDATED (AP)— As expected, Alabama is a unanimous No. 1 pick in The Associated Press final regular season football poll, following by Ohio State, Clemson, Washington and Penn State. Michigan, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, Southern Cal and Florida State round out the top 10.

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) — Derek Carr threw for 260 yards and two touchdowns to rally the Oakland Raiders to their biggest comeback in 16 years with a 38-24 victory over the Buffalo Bills. After falling behind 24-9 the 10-2 Raiders took the game over with 29 straight points and won their sixth straight to remain one game ahead of Kansas City in the AFC West.

UNDATED (AP)— Without even putting on their pads and helmets, the Dallas Cowboys qualified for the postseason with Washington's 31-23 loss to Arizona Sunday. Dallas has won 11 consecutive games and is coming off a win last Thursday in Minnesota.
