BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (AP) — Erica McCall had her second-straight double-double, Alanna Smith had 10 points and tied a career high with nine rebounds and No. 11 Stanford beat Cal State-Bakersfield 77-56 on Thursday night.

McCall, the daughter of CSUB coach Greg McCall, finished with 18 points and 12 rebounds while Karli Samuelson scored 14 and Nadia Fingall added 13 points for Stanford.

It was 20-all at the end of the first quarter but the Roadrunners made just 2 of 12 from the field, committed seven turnovers — including four on consecutive possessions — and was outscored 20-6 in the second. Samuelson scored nine in the quarter and Stanford (7-1) led by double figures the rest of the way.

Brittany Sims and Aja Williams scored 13 apiece for Bakersfield (1-5), which has lost five in a row.

Stanford shot 50.9 percent (27 of 53) and outrebounded CSUB 45-15, including 17-3 on the offensive glass.
