BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (AP) — Bobby Ahearn had 19 points and 10 rebounds for his first double-double of the season and Binghamton beat Division II Mansfield 91-71 on Wednesday night.

Dusan Perovic added 19 points, Everson Davis 17 and Thomas Bruce 14 for the Bearcats (5-4). Ahearn and Perovic were each 7 of 9 from the field.

Binghamton never trailed after the opening minutes and opened to a 23-10 lead. Mansfield closed within five shortly before halftime and, again, with 13 minutes left in the game.

The Bearcats pulled away for good with a 27-7 run capped at 89-64, their largest lead, on John Schurman's 3-pointer with 3:52 left.

Malik Carter had 25 points and eight rebounds to lead the Mountaineers. Jahyde Gardiner added 13 and Gerasimos Koutoufas scored 12.

Mansfield is one of three Division II programs with a Division I win this season. The Mountaineers beat Duquense 79-74 on Nov. 5.
