TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) — The nation's top-ranked football team is home this evening for a non-conference game. Alabama is playing host to Chattanooga, a highly-ranked school in the FCS. The No. 1 Crimson Tide are 10-0 on the season.

UNDATED (AP) — The big Ohio State-Michigan game is next Saturday in Columbus, Ohio. A great deal will be at stake in that game, so in preparation the Buckeyes are visiting Michigan State this afternoon while Michigan is home to Indiana.

HOMESTEAD, Fla. (AP) — The season-ending Sprint Cup race is tomorrow in Homestead, Florida. In qualifying yesterday Kevin Harvick and Brad Keselowski (kehs-LOW'-skee) grabbed the first two spots to put a pair of non-contenders for the Sprint Cup title in the front row. As a matter of fact, none of the four contenders for the driving championship were able to crack the first four rows.

NAPLES, Fla. (AP) — The third round of the season-ending LPGA CME Group Tour Championship event in Naples, Florida, is in progress. Midway leader Lydia Ko and Brittany Lincicome (LIHN'-sih-kohm) share the lead at 12-under after 11 and 14 holes respectively.

ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. (AP) — Mackenzie Hughes, the leader after two rounds, now has a two-shot lead during third-round play at the PGA's RSM Classic in Georgia. He is 2-under for the day through eight holes and 16-under for the tournament.
