HOUSTON (AP) — Damyean Dotson scored 20 points and Houston needed a second-half rally to put away Division II Angelo State, 84-72 on Wednesday night.

The Rams did not trail in the first half and built a 39-32 advantage at halftime, leading by as many as 12 points.

Danrad Knowles gave Houston the lead with a pair of free throws less than two minutes into the second half and the Cougars never trailed again.
