ORANGE CITY, Fla. (AP) — Officials in Orange City will need to find a new place to meet after authorities say a pickup truck crashed into their council chambers.
The Daytona Beach News-Journal (https://goo.gl/k9SdEr ) reports the crash occurred in the small central Florida city Wednesday morning.
Police Lt. Jason Sampsell says a 29-year-old man was driving on nearby road when he lost control of his truck, moved through a gas station parking lot, hit two other vehicles and smashed through the building's wall. The truck was completely inside when it stopped.
The driver was taken to a hospital with minor injuries. No one else was in the building at the time of the crash.
