CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — A 79-year-old inmate has died at the Wyoming Medium Correctional Institution in Torrington.
The Wyoming Department of Corrections says Arlo Ernest Benbo died Monday after a lengthy illness.
Benbo was sentenced in October 2009 by District Judge Scott W. Skavdahl to 12 to 20 years in prison for second degree sexual abuse of a minor.
An autopsy has been ordered per departmental policy.
