GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — Donald Trump continues to make unsubstantiated claims that the voting process is rigged. His allies have insisted that Trump is referring to unfair media coverage. But the GOP nominee told a rally in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Monday night that there is fraud "at the polling booths." He said that "people who died 10 years ago" and "illegal immigrants" are voting. That defies research. A major study found just 31 known cases of impersonation fraud out of 1 billion votes cast in U.S. elections between 2000 and 2014.
NEW YORK (AP) — NBC News says "Today" show host Billy Bush has been fired. Bush had been suspended for being caught on a 2005 "Access Hollywood" video laughing with Donald Trump about Trump's claims of kissing and groping women. Once it became clear Bush wouldn't be back, NBC and his representatives had been negotiating terms of his exit. His lawyer won't discuss those terms and says Bush is a "free agent." Bush has said he was "embarrassed and ashamed" by the tape.

Many residents of the city of 700-thousands are expected to flee. Iraqi Kurdish fighters have launched an offensive with airstrike support from the U.S.-led coalition.

Three men have been arrested in connection with the shooting.
CINCINNATI (AP) — The University of Cincinnati has lifted a shelter-in-place order that was issued following reports of shots fired on campus Monday night.
