CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for December delivery was 2.40 cents higher at $4.0620 a bushel; December corn was 1.40 cents lower at $3.4160 bushel; December oats was 3 cents higher at $2.00 a bushel while November soybeans gained 1.20 cents to $9.5560 a bushel.
Beef and pork prices were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
October live cattle was .38 cent higher at $.9925 a pound; October feeder cattle was 1.30 ent higher at $1.2595 pound; October lean hogs gained .95 cent to $.5163 a pound.
