Sam Penrod ReportingThe investigation into who stole more than a million dollars worth of property from NuSkin founder Nedra Roney is still going on today. So far, no one has been arrested.
Police have tracked down the two men who were moving the property to Utah from Jackson Hole. They are not being called suspects, however, detectives do say the men remain persons of interest in the case.
The investigation began Tuesday night after more than a million dollars worth of jewelry, watches, clothing and even 15-thousand dollars in a case disappeared from Roney's estate in Hobble Creek Canyon.
Two men had been hired to move the belongings from Wyoming to Utah. Miguel Negerete and Alejandro Garcia each were driving vans with the items. Police caught up with them in Wyoming where they were questioned and not detained.
Investigators today tell us they are following several leads in the case, but can't give specifics about where the investigation is going, other than other person's of interest in the burglary were in the house that night.
The property belongs to Nedra Roney, who co-founded NuSkin back in 1984. The company has become highly profitable in multi-level marketing of health care and beauty products. NuSkin is headquarted in Provo.
This is one of the biggest dollar thefts of property ever in Utah County's history, and the sheriff's office has several detectives working the case. But so far, the stolen loot remains missing.
