Several Salt Lake businesses report personnel news. George Claffey has been named the Chief Financial Officer of ClearOne Communications. Parsons Behle & Latimer announced that Josh Reid has joined the firm and will concentrate his practice on environmental and natural resources law. R&O Construction has promoted Slade Opheikens [oh PIE kins] to Vice President of Operations. Robert Manfield, an attorney with Van Cott, Bagley, Cornwall & McCarthy, has been named the President of the Elephant Club. The Elephant Club is a support organization for the Utah Republican Party. Butch Daily, co-owner of RE/MAX Associates in Midvale, has been chosen to serve as the 2004 President of the Utah Association of REALTORS®.
