(KSL News) A fuel spill in Parley's Canyon caused problems this morning.
Highway Patrol troopers say the driver of the tanker truck ran over the base of a construction sign, puncturing a fuel line and spilling several gallons of gas from his tanks onto the road.
The spill had to be cleaned up, the tanks of the truck fully drained, and the truck towed away before the scene was cleared.
Troopers say none of the fuel got into waterways or other areas where it could be an environmental threat.
