THIS IS MICHAEL DE GROOTE FROM THE SALT LAKE CHAMBER, WITH YOUR METRO BUSINESS REPORT

Digital Tuesday, a Draper-based technology marketing firm, has developed new web-based templates that allow their customers to create marketing materials online. These materials are then emailed, used in a website, or printed by Digital Tuesday and delivered to the customer.

Bridget Bertram, President of Onsite Business Coaching, will speak on “Savvy Women Live Prosperously” at the Salt Lake 100’s summer breakfast workshop on June 18th at 7 a.m. at the University Park Marriott.

Big-D Construction has been awarded a contract to expand and remodel the 39-bed Ashley Valley Medical Center in Vernal. The project requires the moving of a city street and includes an intensive care, pre-op, emergency, and radiology departments. The medical center will be finished in June 2005.

Here’s what people are saying about the Chamber’s new President, Lane Beattie. “Lane has been in the thick of many battles to build business in Utah,” says Al Mansell, Utah Senate President. “He worked hard to build a high quality of life in our state. He fought against high taxes and excessive regulation. He is an exceptional leader and consensus builder. Having his voice gives even more credibility to the chamber of commerce’s positions.”

Business After Hours this month will be at the Utah Arts Festival on Thursday, June 19th. It’s a festive atmosphere for the Chamber’s famous business building networking. To register for Business After Hours, call the Chamber at 328-5077 or see us on the web at saltlakechamber.org.
