The producers of a Broadway GREASE revival are set to use reality TV to find their stars.

US TV talent contest YOU'RE THE ONE THAT I WANT will pit wannabe thespians against one other - and the winners will land leading roles in the rock 'n' roll musical.

The NBC show will be produced by the brains behind a similar British show, HOW DO YOU SOLVE A PROBLEM LIKE MARIA? which is aimed at finding the star of a THE SOUND OF MUSIC revival on London's West End.

The winners of You're The One That I Want will play DANNY ZUKO and SANDY DUMBROWSKI onstage. Those roles were played by JOHN TRAVOLTA and OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN in the cult 1978 Grease movie musical. (KL/DV/ZJS)
