(KSL News) -- The Utah Museum of Natural history is displaying artifacts from an ancient culture important to Utah history.
Archeologists recovered the collection from the Range Creek area in Eastern Utah. Range Creek is a rugged canyon where the Fremont people lived a thousand years ago.
The collection includes pots, arrowheads, stone tools and baskets.
The museum has also reconstructed a rock wall from the area and a pit house, like the ones the Fremont people built underground in the canyon.
