SALT LAKE CITY -- New guidelines aimed at protecting kids from head injuries mean if your child is suffering from even a suspected concussion, it could be longer before she gets back in the game.
Springville High School Athletic Trainer Lisa Walker says Utah already has stricter standards for youth sports that are aimed at helping children and teens stay healthy. In some cases, it could be days before a child with a suspected concussion is allowed to play again.
