LISBON, Portugal (AP) — Defending champion Benfica was held to a 1-1 draw at home by Setubal in the Portuguese league on Sunday.
Setubal's Frederico Venancio struck the opening goal in the 66th minute from a free kick taken by Nuno Pinto.
Raul Jimenez went on as a second-half substitute for Benfica and salvaged a point by converting a penalty in the 82nd.
Also on Sunday, Moreirense won 3-0 at promoted Fereinse, while Arouca beat Nacional 2-0.
Title hopefuls FC Porto and Sporting Lisbon both won again on Saturday, giving them six points from two games.
