THIS IS LARRY MANKIN, PRESIDENT OF THE SALT LAKE CHAMBER, WITH YOUR METRO BUSINESS REPORT

Several Salt Lake businesses report personnel changes. Jerry Curtis has joined U.S. Bank as Vice President and Relationship Manager for Commercial Banking in the Salt Lake City metro district.

Harmons is in the second week of their three week-long grand opening of their 11th store located in Draper. The new Harmons, located at 672 East 11400 South, is designed to save energy. High efficiency heating, lighting, and energy efficient frozen food cases are just some of the power conservation measures in the new store.

The next time you need to pick up someone at Salt Lake International Airport, take advantage of the Park 'N Wait Lot. The "no waiting or parking" rule in front of the terminals is still in effect. To get to the Park 'N Wait lot, drive in front of the terminals and follow the "return to terminals" directions. The lot is on the right as you circle to the east.

A Trade Mission from Brazil is coming to Utah this Thursday and Friday October 17th and 18th. This is an opportunity to meet with Brazilian business leaders who want to do business with U.S. firms.
