ST. CLOUD, Minn. (AP) — Authorities have arrested a St. Cloud man on suspicion of arson after her allegedly set fire to books and furniture at a public library.
A police statement says officers and firefighters were called to the Great River Regional Library around 1 p.m. Wednesday after an employee reported that the 47-year-old man was setting fire to books on the second floor.
The fire was quickly extinguished, but the library was evacuated and closed for the day.
