CINCINNATI (AP) — Right-hander Jose Urena has been recalled from New Orleans by the Miami Marlins, who optioned right-hander Austin Brice to the Triple-A farm team.

Urena, the Marlins' starting pitcher on Tuesday against the Reds, was 3-3 with a 3.17 ERA in 12 starts. He began the night 1-3 with a 6.69 ERA in three starts and 16 relief appearances for Miami.
