Maxine Turner, President of Cuisine Unlimited, was recently honored by her industry peers nationally as the top caterer in the United States. Event Solutions named her and Cuisine Unlimited at “Caterer of the Year.”

The U.S. Small Business Administration has simplified export financing opportunities for small businesses. The goal is to attract more businesses to use the SBA’s ExportExpress loan program. Changes include raising the maximum amount of the loans to $250,000 dollars and streamlining the application process.

Furst Construction broke ground this week for construction on the new Center for Change complex in Orem.

epixtech, Inc. recently signed an agency contract with Christopherson Travel Group to provide full-service travel management.

The Economic Development Corporation of Utah recently announced that Grand Prix Apparel and Accessories will relocate their manufacturing division to Lindon, Utah from Southern California. The Utah operation should have 30 employees by the end of the year.

Dynatronics Corporation, a manufacturer of advanced-technology medical devices, announced financial results for fiscal year 2002 ending June 30th. Net sales were $16,337,318 dollars. Net income was $316,101 dollars compared to the previous year’s $334,179 dollars.
