Finlay scores in 80th, 95th minutes; Crew tie NYCFC 3-3

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Ethan Finlay scored in the 80th and 95th minutes to help the Columbus Crew tie New York City FC 3-3 on Saturday night.

David Villa gave New York City a 3-2 lead in the 92nd minute, converting a penalty kick for his 15th goal of the season. Columbus answered three minutes later when Finlay sent a loose ball into the back of the net.

Columbus (3-8-11) set a MLS record with its sixth straight draw at home. Columbus is winless in 10 straight overall and hasn't won since May 28.

Frank Lampard opened the scoring for New York City (10-7-8) in the 41st with his ninth goal in 10 games. Justin Meram tied it in the 49th, heading in Waylon Francis' cross.

Finlay gave the Crew a 2-1 lead on a penalty kick in the 80th minute. Three minutes later, Villa tied it after settling Andrea Pirlo's chip with his right foot and scoring with his left.

The start of the game was delayed for nearly an hour due to weather.
