ST. GEORGE, Utah (AP) — SkyWest Airlines has announced plans to add a new daily round-trip flight this fall between Phoenix and St. George Regional Airport.
The new flight service is scheduled to begin Nov. 4. Tickets go on sale Saturday.
A flight will leave St. George daily at 8 a.m. for Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. The return flight from Phoenix to St. George will depart Phoenix at 5 p.m.
SkyWest currently operates flights out of St. George to Salt Lake City and Denver.
SkyWest CEO Chip Childs says record-growth in air passenger traffic in St. George combined with low oil prices and the fall season makes it a perfect time to add the service.
