Getting to Denver was great! We met up with Doug and Mark at the SLC airport then had an uneventful (nice) flight.

When we arrived at the hotel, our room was not available. Doug had another person booked in his room...all was eventually righted. We hope that the other person also got a room as the entire town seems to be booked solid.

Jim and I attended the Faith in Action, Interfaith Gathering with (my calculation) six thousand others. I love this kind of spiritual experience! Keynote speakers Bishop Charles Blake, Presiding Bishop Church of Christ, Dr. Ingrid Mattson, Rabbi Dr. Itzv Hersh Weinreb and Sister Helen Prejean brought the house down. It made me proud to be a Christian and a Democrat! A spiritual experience I will never forget.

Then the icing on the cake. Jim and I were winding down at the Brown Palace and who should come through...? John Kerry!!! Yes, we were just a few feet away. I got a great picture. I assure you, I will be in the next one.
