A truck driver was seriously hurt Tuesday when the semi truck he was driving crashed in Fairview Canyon.

The driver was transporting logs from a logging operation in Sanpete County and is believed to have had problems with the truck's brakes.

After losing control, he crashed on the winding canyon road, and the cab of the truck was crushed in the accident.

He was rushed to Sanpete Valley Hospital in Mt. Pleasant.

An investigation is still underway.
