PHOENIX (AP) — Pinch-hitter Tyler Goeddel hit a sacrifice fly in the 10th inning and the Philadelphia Phillies completed their first sweep at Chase Field in 10 years with a 9-8 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Wednesday.
The Diamondbacks went up 7-4 in the seventh inning on Paul Goldschmidt's two-run double, but the Phillies rallied with four runs in the eighth to go up 8-7.
Jean Segura tied it in the bottom half on an infield single, but the Diamondbacks allowed Jeanmar Gomez (3-2) to escape a jam in the ninth.
Peter Bourjos, who earlier had a two-run homer, hit a two-out single off Silvino Bracho (0-2) in the 10th and moved to third on Cody Asche's single. Goeddel followed with a line drive to right for the go-ahead run.
Brett Oberholtzer worked around a single in the 10th for his first save.
