Keith McCord ReportingWant to see a 62-year old man smile? Then take a look at Charlie, here. He's a long-time resident of the Trinity Mission Health and Rehabilitation Center in Provo. He's wheelchair bound and today he got a brand new ride!
The guys at the Timpanogos Harley Davidson Dealership took his motorized wheel chair and put their magic touch to it -- a paint job with flames, chrome and new wheels. And then, Charlie took it for a spin.

Jason Murray, Administrator, Trinity Mission Health & Rehab. Ctr.: "He's been in a mechanical wheelchair for some time. And if you've ever ridden in a mechanical wheelchair, it can become tedious. And so we tried to put a little spice on his mechanical wheelchair."
Charlie's new chair is one of several that these bikers have spiced up. All the time, labor and parts are donated. For them, seeing Charlie's face light up is what it's all about.
Brownie Cyphers, Chrome Consultant, Timpanogos Harley Davidson: "That's great. That's what makes it all worthwhile. That's why we do it, just try to help somebody out. He's had a tough life, I'm sure, and he needs all the help he can get."

But no help is needed in driving his new machine. Wearing a leather Harley Helmet, Charlie led the whole group for a ride down the driveway, impressing the ladies no doubt!
Jason Murray, Administrator, Trinity Mission Health & Rehab. Ctr.: "You know, we have a lot of single people living in this facility, so he has a leg up on the competition with his new chair."
Charlie doesn't say much, but today he said his new chair was "Pretty darned cool."
