NEW ORLEANS (AP) — North Carolina-based Select Laboratory Software, which develops cloud-based medical laboratory software used in toxicology and clinical laboratories, is planning to expand to New Orleans and hire up to 25 people.
The company said Monday it plans to fill five to 10 of those positions by the end of the year.
New Orleans Business Alliance President and CEO Quentin Messer Jr. praised the company's decision as a sign of "New Orleans' increasing attractiveness for health care IT companies and bioinnovation entrepreneurs."
