For as long as KSL has been doing editorials, we've invited you, our viewers and listeners to respond - to share your views on what we've said. We've encouraged you to write, to phone, and more recently email.
We'll continue to do it.
We also want to make you aware of a new tool for sharing your viewpoint - a place where you can actually dialogue with others on the issues we address. Just go to our website at www.ksl.com and follow the editorial link. There you can access the Community Comment Board and leave your comments about the editorial itself, or you can respond to what others have said about the editorial.
KSL's recent editorial regarding deficiencies in the state's Sex Offender Registry provides a good example of how the comment board works. Some took objection to what our editorial said and offered reasons why. Others responded with additional insights. Still others presented their own reasons for supporting the view we espoused.
Such dialogue is one of the primary reasons KSL continues to editorialize. Our system of government is based on the open discussion of ideas and opinions, and our website now offers a modern tool for expanding the discussion. We hope you'll take advantage of it. Indeed, we hope to hear from you.
