SALT LAKE CITY — A mother-daughter duo from Utah has been making the internet smile since a darling video was released of the two singing Adele’s mega-hit song “Hello.”
Rebecca Jones — who performs as an R&B singer in the area under the name Nevaeh — is from Philadelphia but has lived in Utah with her husband Damarr and daughter Tiana. In a video posted to YouTube, 2-year-old Tiana really gets into the duet with her melodic mama, belting out the chorus better than all of us car karaoke wannabes.
“All of my kids love to sing because they see their mother performing,” father and husband Damarr Jones said. “One day, she was singing Adele ‘Hello’ and the baby … started singing with so much passion. People fell in love with the combo singing — she is becoming a bigger star than mom!”
“No matter how stressful my days might get, I take a moment to thank God for these little moments that I am blessed to be a part of,” Rebecca wrote as a caption for the original video posted to Facebook. “Thank you, Lord for my beautiful family.”
