(KSL News) -- Utah will soon receive financial help from the US Department of Transportation.

The government is reimbursing Utah five-million dollars to the St. George area to help with road damage caused by the 2005 floods.

Utah's cut is part of the 685-million that the federal government is giving to 31 states and territories that suffered damage due to hurricanes, flooding and storms.
