(KSL News) -- A man convicted of robbing a Green River motel, could spend life in prison.
Prosecutors say Audie Max Barnes and his accomplice, John Louis Gourno, robbed the motel at gunpoint last March.
A high speed chase followed and a UHP trooper fired his gun, and wounded Gourno. That trooper lost his job.
A jury found Barnes guilty of aggravated robbery, car theft and failure to stop for police. His sentencing hearing, begins next month.
Gourno is already in jail. He's serving time in Ohio on an unrelated charge.
