RENO, Nev. (AP) — Reno police are looking into a collision that left a motorcyclist dead.
Authorities say the incident happened around 6 p.m. Friday in the area of Clear Acre and Crystal lanes.
According to investigators, a motorcycle was heading northbound on Clear Acre Lane when it somehow collided with a vehicle.
The 62-year-old Reno man riding the motorcycle was taken to the hospital with severe injuries.
Police say he succumbed to them shortly after arrival.
The driver of the vehicle suffered minor injuries and cooperated with investigators.
Police are still trying to determine the cause of the accident.
They have not ruled out speed or alcohol as factors.
The identity of the motorcyclist is not being released at this time.
