BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Elmore County officials say two bodies were recovered from the Boise River on Saturday after a car crashed into the Middle Fork. Four other people were in the vehicle but survived the crash.
MOUNTAIN HOME, Idaho (AP) — Mountain Home police say two elementary schools were vandalized, resulting in more than $50,000 in damage. The Idaho Statesman reports that the vandalism is believed to have occurred either Wednesday night or early Thursday morning at North Elementary School and East Elementary School.
IDAHO CITY, Idaho (AP) — A longtime Idaho City employee was suspended, then resigned her position as city clerk amid an investigation of misappropriation of public funds. City officials and the Idaho State Police would not provide further details about their investigation of Tammy Ellsworth.
BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Idaho doctors are being paid by device and drug manufacturers for research, consulting and royalties. The Idaho Statesman reports device and drug companies spent $3.8 million in Treasure Valley in 2014.
