UNDATED (AP) — (AP) — Texas authorities now say four people have died in flooding and two remain missing. Torrential rains have moved out but they left behind swollen rivers that have overrun some communities. Washington County officials say the bodies of two missing motorists were found today in separate parts of the rural county located between Austin and Houston.

CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — The Memorial Day weekend will be a wet one along the South Carolina coast. Tropical Storm Bonnie is about 125 miles from Charleston, South Carolina, and is already spreading locally heavy rains across coastal areas of the state. Bonnie is expected to move onshore south of Charleston sometime Sunday morning. No evacuations have been ordered.

SANTA PAULA, Calif. (AP) — Two people are dead after the fiery crash of a small plane in a Southern California orchard. A Ventura County fire official says units arrived at the scene this afternoon and found the plane engulfed in flames. The victims were deceased. The site is in the agricultural Aliso Canyon area between the cities of Ventura and Santa Paula.

NEW YORK (AP) — Divers have retrieved the wreckage of a World War II fighter that crashed into the Hudson River between New York and New Jersey last evening, killing pilot William Gordon The P-47 Thunderbolt was taking part in the American Airpower Museum's celebration of the plane's 75th anniversary this weekend. Fellow pilots paid tribute to Gordon this afternoon.

JEROME, Ariz. (AP) — Authorities say a man trapped in his crashed vehicle on a central Arizona mountain for three days was rescued thanks to a couple taking sightseeing photos. Police say the 50-year-old man's SUV was spotted Friday afternoon by a couple who had pulled over on a road on Mingus Mountain, about 10 miles south of Jerome. The driver is hospitalized in stable condition.
