CHICAGO (AP) — Minnesota Twins second baseman Brian Dozier is out of the lineup against the Chicago White Sox with a sore right hamstring.

Dozier said before the game Friday night that he hopes to return Saturday.

Dozier said he was injured coming out of the box after his first at-bat Wednesday night in a 16-4 loss at Houston. He did some light running Friday afternoon and said he felt much better than a day earlier.

Dozier is hitting .220 for the struggling Twins, but was 6 for 11 in the Astros series and hit his fourth home run Wednesday.
