PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — The Portland Trail Blazers are in the Western Conference semifinals after Damian Lillard scored 28 points and Mason Plumlee hit three huge free throws down the stretch to lead the Blazers to a 106-103 win over the Clippers. Plumlee went 3-for-4 from the line in the last 15 seconds to secure the victory. CJ McCollum added 20 points for the Blazers, who became the first team to overcome a 2-0 deficit since Memphis came back against the Clippers in the first round in 2013
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Dwyane (dwayn) Wade finished with 23 points and the Miami Heat extended their NBA first-round series to a seventh game by downing the Hornets 97-90 in Charlotte. The Heat led just 90-88 in the final minute until Wade hit a 3-pointer and a fadeaway to make it a 95-90 game with 20 seconds remaining. Luol Deng (LOO'-ul dehng) added 21 points on 9 of 14 shooting to help Miami overcome Kemba Walker's 37 points.
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Paul George delivered 21 points, 11 rebounds and six assists as the Indiana Pacers thumped the Toronto Raptors 101-83 to force a Game 7 in the NBA first-round series. Myles Turner chipped in 15 points and nine rebounds for Indiana, which trailed by six early in the second half before outscoring the Raptors 61-37. The Pacers took the lead with an 11-2 run right after Jonas Valanciunas (YOH'-nuhs val-ehn-CHOO'-nuhs) hit a layup to put Toronto ahead 46-40 seconds into the third quarter.
DALLAS (AP) — Radek Faksa scored the tiebreaking goal with 4:44 remaining to send the Dallas Stars past St. Louis 2-1 in the opener of the NHL second-round series. Faksa's game-winner came less than four minutes after Kevin Shattenkirk knotted the score for St. Louis. Neither team scored until Faksa assisted on Antoine Roussel's (roo-SEHLZ') goal midway through the second period.
SAN JOSE (AP) — San Jose opened its second-round series with a victory as Logan Couture (koo-TOOR') scored twice while the Sharks netted five goals in the third period of a 5-2 triumph over Nashville. The Predators carried a 1-0 lead into the final period before Tomas Hertl, Joel Ward and Couture scored consecutive goals to put San Jose in control. Martin Jones stopped 29 shots for the Sharks, who are 5-1 in the postseason.
