FRISCO, Texas (AP) — Injured All-Star center Tyler Seguin is still not back on the ice for the Dallas Stars.
Coach Lindy Ruff said Tuesday that Seguin is not expected to skate in the next few days. Dallas opens the second round of the playoffs against St. Louis at home Friday night.
Seguin played only 15:40 in Game 2 of their first-round series victory over Minnesota. He had missed the last 10 games of the regular season and the playoff opener with a cut of his left Achilles tendon.
The Stars have described it as only a lower-body injury. Ruff has said that the injury was different but related to the Achilles injury, and indicated that it could be the result of trying to play at a high pace suddenly after missing a month.
