HERRIMAN, Utah (AP) — Police say a woman was shot and a man was beaten unconscious during an early morning disturbance in a Utah city.
The Deseret News reports (http://bit.ly/1SuGIM3 ) that Unified Police Lt. Lex Bell says a couple was having a party at their Herriman home when a man asked people to leave and threatened them with a gun. He says several people left, but they heard a gunshot and found the shooting victim, who was driven to Riverton Hospital.
Bell says a man was then beaten unconscious.
He says the shooting was reported at 5:15 a.m. Sunday.
