PIKETON, Ohio (AP) — Authorities in Ohio says the person or persons who shot to death 8 people in rural Pike County should be considered armed, dangerous. The victim's bodies were found at four separate locations, and officials say they appeared to have been shot in the head, execution-style. Officials say they include seven adults and one teen, all from the same family. Three children, including a days-old baby, survived the shootings.
APPLING, Ga. (AP) — Georgia authorities say five people have been killed in two shootings. Three were killed at one location in Appling. Two others were shot dead at a location about a mile away. Appling is east of Augusta. It's believed one gunman is responsible. He remains at large.
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — A medical examiner in Minnesota has completed the autopsy on Prince's body. The 57-year-old musician died Thursday after he was found unresponsive at his Paisley Park compound. The agency says findings won't be released until all information is in, including results of toxicology tests, which could take weeks. Prince's body has bene released to his family.
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) — A Florida sheriff disputes that his deputies watched and didn't help rescue three Florida teenagers who stole a car, crashed it into a cemetery pond and drowned after a March 30 police chase. Comic D.L. Hughley (HEW'-glee) and others on social media have posted that police just watched as the car sank with two 15-year-olds and a 16-year-old from St. Petersburg. Sheriff Bob Gaultieri says the dashcam video being criticized is "misleadingly" edited.
WASHINGTON (AP) — Fiat Chrysler is recalling more than 1.1 million cars and midsize SUVs worldwide because their gear shifters may confuse drivers and increase the risk of a rollaway accident. The recall covers the 2012-2014 Dodge Charger and Chrysler 300 sedans and the 2014-2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee SUV. FCA is recalling 811,586 vehicles in the U.S.; 52,144 vehicles in Canada; 16,805 in Mexico; and 248,667 outside North America.
