OGDEN — Commuters were advised to avoid state Route 39 in Ogden Canyon after a crash Friday.
As a result of the collision, a barrier was knocked into the river near the Alaskan Inn Bed and Breakfast at 435 Ogden Canyon, according to the Utah Department of Transportation.

The road was closed from 2:30 p.m. until just before 4 p.m. Friday afternoon while crews worked to remove the barrier from the river, UDOT reported. The process was expected to take two hours.
No one was injured in the accident, which only involved one car, according to the Weber County Sheriff's Office. The cause of the accident has not been released.
