PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Authorities say a 4-year-old girl has been fatally shot by a 5-year-old sibling in Philadelphia and police are searching for the mother's boyfriend, who's believed to have owned the gun used.

Police say the girl was shot in the face in a home in the Upper Kensington neighborhood in north Philadelphia shortly before 2:30 p.m. Saturday. Emergency medical personnel pronounced her dead at the scene.

Sgt. Eric Gripp says police are trying to determine who was in the home when the shooting occurred.

Police say a weapon was recovered. No arrests have been made.
