SEATTLE (AP) — School officials say a Bainbridge school security guard has been arrested after a hoax 911 call about a firearm on the high school campus.

KOMO-TV reports (http://is.gd/2ngkj4 ) the high school was placed on lockdown Wednesday, along with two other nearby schools, as Bainbridge Island police officers searched the building and grounds.

Police found no evidence of a person with a weapon on the campus, so they started investigating the source of the 911 call.

Late Thursday afternoon, police notified Bainbridge Island school officials that they had arrested high school security guard Michael Krysinski in connection with the incident. The school district has placed Krysinski on administrative leave pending further investigation.
