(KSL News) -- A van hit a 14-year old boy in West Jordan this afternoon, sending him to the hospital in critical condition.
The boy was riding his skateboard down a driveway into the street when a van came around a bend in the road and hit him.
He was not wearing a helmet and he sustained a severe head injury.
An AirMed helicopter took the boy to Primary Children's Hospital. Police are investigating the incident.
