State workers' 4-day workweek begins Monday

(KSL News) State employees start working longer days but will enjoy an extra day off beginning this week.

Starting tomorrow, most government offices move to the 10-hour, four-day workweek. State offices will open an hour earlier, at 7 a.m., and stay open an hour longer.

The new schedule is projected to save taxpayers an additional $3 million in energy costs.
