(KSL News) State employees start working longer days but will enjoy an extra day off beginning this week.
Starting tomorrow, most government offices move to the 10-hour, four-day workweek. State offices will open an hour earlier, at 7 a.m., and stay open an hour longer.
The new schedule is projected to save taxpayers an additional $3 million in energy costs.
