ARCADIA, Calif. (AP) — Guy Code led all the way to win the $58,000 feature by a head Friday at Santa Anita.

Ridden by Tiago Pereira, Guy Code ran 6½ furlongs in 1:15.54 and paid $31.20, $13.40 and $7.20 at 14-1 odds. The 4-year-old gelding is trained by former jockey Goncalino Almeida.

Roy H returned $4.40 and $3, while 17-1 shot Carlot Cowboy was another 1½ lengths back in third and paid $6.80 to show. Carlot Cowboy is owned by Olympic champion skier Bode Miller.

The victory, worth $45,240, increased Guy Code's career earnings to $166,640, with four wins in 18 starts.
