WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama heads to Cuba Sunday just as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says it's adding the country to its travel notice for the Zika virus. The notice advises pregnant women not to travel to countries where the mosquito-borne virus is present. For Obama, the trip marks the first visit to Cuba by a sitting president in nearly 90 years. The Obama administration says the virus hasn't been a factor in Obama's travel decisions.

HAVANA (AP) — The new era of relations between the United States and Cuba is expanding to the hotel business as President Barack Obama prepares to leave on his trip to the island nation. Starwood signed a deal on Saturday to renovate and run three Cuban hotels, returning U.S. chains to the island more than 50 years after American hotels were taken over by Fidel Castro's socialist revolution. The deal pushes Washington's legal dismantling of the Cuban trade embargo further than ever.

ISTANBUL (AP) — Suspicion has fallen on the Islamic State group or Kurdish militants for the latest suicide attack in Turkey, though there's been no formal claim of responsibility. The sixth suicide bombing in Turkey in the past year happened on Istanbul's main pedestrian shopping street Saturday, killing five people, including two dual nationality Israeli-Americans and one Iranian citizen. Dozens were wounded.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — Forecasters say the Northeast won't get as much snow as previously thought from a weekend storm. The National Weather Service says parts of Massachusetts including Boston and Cape Cod and parts of Rhode Island could get 4 to 8 inches of snow Sunday through Monday. Four to 7 inches are predicted for Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket and parts of Connecticut. Philadelphia and New York could get 1 to 2 inches.

NEW YORK (AP) — Cities from South Korea to the United States went dark for an hour Saturday evening in what the World Wildlife Fund describes as a moment of solidarity for climate action. The action marked Earth Hour, a global movement dedicated to protecting the planet and highlighting the effects of climate change.
