(KSL News) An 11-year-old Ephraim girl is dead after an ATV she was riding on flipped, crushing her beneath it.
The girl and three other teens were driving the ATV on Canyon Road when it hit a curb and turned over, trapping the 11-year-old under it.
The Salt Lake Tribune reports the child was transported to Sanpete Valley Hospital where she was pronounced dead last night. The ATV driver and two other passengers received only minor injuries.
Investigators say speed may have been a factor.
