DAVIS, Calif. (AP) — Quincy Smith scored 15 points, Sai Tummala added 14 and Hawaii surged late to surpass UC Davis for a 67-65 win Thursday night.

The Rainbow Warriors (24-4, 13-2) earned at least share of the Big West Conference regular-season title and locked up the No. 1 seed in next week's conference tournament.

Roderick Bobbitt added 11 points for Hawaii, which visits Long Beach State on Saturday to finish the season.

UC Davis (10-18, 5-10) led from the 5:50 mark in the first half until Hawaii's Stefan Jankovic converted a 3-point play to make it 63-62 with 1:24 left. Bobbitt dunked with 25 seconds left to make it 65-62 and split two pairs of free throws from there.

Siler Schneider's 3-pointer with six seconds left cut the deficit to one, Bobbitt made the second of his free throws with 4.2 seconds left, and Darius Graham missed an attempt to win for the Aggies with a 25-footer at the buzzer.
