TRIPLAND — In today's roundup of the best from the Internet, a BYU football player makes life's biggest play on the field, and a Duke basketball player enters unique territory.
Let's get started.
BYU quarterback makes it official
BYU quarterback Tanner Mangum has created a lot of memories at LaVell Edwards Stadium in just one season as a starter. But he created the biggest memory Thursday night.
Mangum proposed to his longtime girlfriend, former BYU volleyball star Alexa Gray, on the field Thursday night and the two are engaged to be married.
KSL Sports tries not to be too much of a paparazzi (OK, sometimes we can't help it). But Mangum posted the announcement on Twitter, so it's fair game, right?
Many good things have happened on this field, but none as special as asking this girl to marry me! We're engaged! 💍 pic.twitter.com/roIbZoTEzs — Tanner Mangum (@tannermangum) February 26, 2016
Congrats to one of Provo's top power couples.
Grayson Allen enters rare air
Allen's "devilish" trait has nothing to do with scoring, rebounding or assists. The Duke guard fairly obviously tripped an opposing player during Duke's 80-65 win over Florida State.
What makes this incident unique — or maybe less unique, depending on your viewpoint — is that it is Allen's second obvious trip during the past month. He also used his leg to stop a fast-break opportunity in Duke's 72-65 win over Louisville on Feb. 8.
Editor's note: the ACC publicly reprimanded Allen on Friday afternoon in a three-paragraph statement for his "involvement in the tripping" of Florida State's Xavier Rathan-Mayes. The league added the matter is closed, and will not comment further.
Allen may be the ultimate villain, but Duke is 21-7, so it's possible every good team will begin to adopt this trend.
Oregon State still holds the oddest on-court trip we've seen this season, though.
High school player hits buzzer-beater with one arm
A buzzer-beater in high school hoops is cool enough.
A buzzer-beater with a one-armed shot is better.
Stenley Graham of Ashland (Oregon) High School hit a 3/4-court, one-armed, shot put-like buzzer-beater off a defensive rebound for his Grizzlies earlier this week.

How bout this 3/4 court one-handed shot from @AshlandHS Stenley Graham?! #opreps#SCtop10@SportsCenterpic.twitter.com/u3K08rOwkp
The video of the shot quickly went viral, skyrocketing into SportsCenter's top 10 and earning the player several national accolades.
We share it one more time, because as we all know KSL loves its high school buzzer beaters, like the one by Mountain View's Savannah Hansen in the opening round of the 4A girls basketball tournament.
